Witney News - Fatal traffic incident - Witney

Please note that the exact location in the following press release was incorrect. The collision did not occur on the A4095, but nearby on Main Road to the west of Curbridge, just west of Downs Road.
The original release read as follows:
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic incident in Curbridge, near Witney, yesterday (3/2).
At around 5.45pm, a red and black Suzuki motorbike left the A4095 Witney Road, just west of Downs Road.
The driver, a 43-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
PC Simon Lincoln, investigating the incident, said: “The motorcyclist was travelling in the direction of Curbridge when he left the road. I appeal to anyone who has any information about the incident to contact police immediately.”
